The 2009 Screenplay Search grand prize winning script, "The Mojo Hand," was optioned to Reversal Films after writers Marshall Hopkins and Jarad Matula entered it in the Screenplay Search contest, but before it was announced as the grand prize winner. Congratulations Jarad and Marshall!

Jim Patton and Dwayne McKenzie, winners in the Comedy category in the 2nd Screenplay Search competition, have signed with manager John Tomko of Rain Management Group. Jim says, "Within a week of winning the comedy category of the Screenplay Search Screenwriting Contest we had several offers for representation, ultimately signing on with John Tomko of Rain Management. We are now developing our next project with him. Our Screenplay Search win is what opened the door." Congratulations Jim and Dwayne!

2010 Grand Prize winner Lawrence Garcia, who won for his script The Dome, has been read by APA and Paradigm agencies and several producers, receiving great feedback on his work.  One production company has showed interest in producing The Dome, and he's been in negotiations to write a sports drama for another producer. He is currently finishing a new script that he is excited about.

Russ Meyer's 2009 winning script, Jenna's Gone (Drama category) has just won The Contest Of Contest Winners screenplay contest. Congratulations Russ!
